Jim A. Barker is an experienced photographer and videographer who is based in Australia’s picturesque bush capital. Known for his exceptional ability to connect with people, Jim’s photographs uniquely capture the individuality of his subjects in the moments and places that mean the most to them.
Jim’s extensive and varied portfolio hosts a range of commercial clients from Lifeline Australia, Amazon, Energy Renaissance, Sonnen and Unyoked. Working from Brisbane to Sydney with a history as a publicist for clients such as Xbox, Telstra, SEGA, Google and more, Jim brings an accomplished and professional skillset as both effective communicator and planner when it comes to working on large projects.
Jim is an active advocate for arts in regional Australia and has dedicated ample amount of time to creating and exhibiting an extensive collection of photographs documenting 75 artisans from across the New England Region.
Jim brings a unique and personal approach to wedding photography, commercial projects, and photojournalism, ensuring that each moment captured is tailored to reflect the heart of the event.
